360 ACES — thinking outside the map Exporter of record

Find out before

Most failed imports fail on paper, not in transit. The establishment was never approved, the category was never eligible, the duty was three times what the margin allowed. We establish that first, in writing.

What the study answers

  • Is the origin establishment approved for your destination market?
  • Is the product eligible for that market at all, and under what conditions?
  • What is the customs classification, and what duty and import VAT will actually be paid?
  • Does a trade agreement give preferential origin, and can it be certified at your consignment value?
  • Which certificates are required, who issues them, and how long they take?
  • Does the consignment need a border control post, and which ones can take it?
  • Does the label meet destination requirements, and what has to change?
  • Where could this be stopped, and what does it cost if it is?

You receive a written report with a clear recommendation. If the answer is no, you get the reason and, where one exists, the alternative route or an eligible source.

Feasibility study

from £1,500 10 working days

  • Establishment approval confirmed for the destination
  • Certificates, issuing bodies and lead times
  • Border control post requirements

Complex or multi-market

from £2,500 quoted on scope
  • Multiple products or destinations
  • Preferential origin audit across a bill of materials
  • Supply chain mapping and route options
  • Supplier identification and qualification

Fees start at the figures shown and are confirmed against your case before we begin — the number of products, destinations and certificates involved is what moves them. You receive a fixed quotation, not an hourly estimate.

Fees exclude VAT. Third-party costs such as official certificate fees or laboratory analysis are quoted separately and passed through at cost. Payable in advance by card or bank transfer.

If you award us the operation within 30 days, the study fee comes off the first invoice. The quick check is credited in full against a full study.

What we need from you

  • The product, with a specification or technical data sheet if one exists
  • The supplier and the address of the site where it is produced
  • Origin and destination country, and the delivery point
  • Expected volume and frequency
  • A current label or artwork, if there is one

If you do not have all of it, send what you have. Often the gaps are themselves part of the answer.
